Comic-Con 2010 July 22nd – July 25th
San Diego Comic-Con International (as given in its logo), also known as Comic-Con International: San Diego , and commonly known as Comic-Con or the San Diego Comic-Con, was founded as the Golden State Comic Book Convention and later the San Diego Comic Book Convention in 1970 . It is traditionally a four-day event (Thursday through Sunday — though a four-hour preview night on Wednesday is open to professionals, exhibitors, and some guests pre-registered for all four days) held during the summer in San Diego California , at the San Diego Convention Center.
Comic-Con 2010 already has an impressive lineup of special guests who have agreed to appear at the 2010 event. Our special guest lineup is an incredibly diverse one, consisting of some of the hottest creators in the world of comics, ranging from the mainstream to the alternative, international, and syndicated branches of the industry. They are also, of course, featuring Golden and Silver Age creators, SF/Fantasy writers and artists, and longtime Comic-Con friends.
