The 15th Annual Bumble Bee 5K Run will take place on the corner of Harbor Drive and Ash St. and finishes near Tuna Harbor Park. Athletes will run past 100,000 spectators. Runners, families and spectators can watch the remainder of the parade that features colorful floats, bands and huge inflatable characters. Awards are three deep in all divisions. All participants receive a top quality official long-sleeve race t-shirt with their entry fee. We will also have additional long sleeve t-shirts for sale at the race site.

The University of Arizona Wildcats and University of Nebraska Cornhuskers will square off in the 32nd annual Pacific Life Holiday Bowl. The game kicks off at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, December 30th at Qualcomm Stadium, and will air nationally on ESPN as well as being broadcast on ESPN Radio Network.

Tickets to the 2009 Pacific Life Holiday Bowl are now on sale to the general public. They may be purchased in person at the Holiday Bowl ticket office at Qualcomm Stadium (M-F, 8:30-5), over the phone at (619) 283-5808, or on-line. On-line purchases, however, are through Ticketmaster and do not include membership benefits.
